Because I could not just make 1 card For this card I wanted to get my hands a little dirty. Every time I buy ink for my HP printer I usually get all of this photo paper with the bundle. It is cheaper but then I never know what to do with the paper. I do not print my photos, i just upload them to Facebook or Dropbox (haha). I got an idea! I used my Distress inks in Picked Raspberry, Seedless Preserves and Evergreen Bough on actual photo paper. After I colored my paper, and my hands, I then spritzed the paper with Pearl Ex Powder in Aztec Gold (from Stampin Up- not sure if they still sell it) mixed with alcohol since it would dry faster. Used my heat tool to dry it up a little. I then stamped The Tulip Stem stamp from So Suzy Stamps in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on to Vellum. I added clear embossing powder and heat embossed to make a little bit of a distressed look. Nice thing about clear stamps is that you can bend them in any way. The sentiment is from Altenew’s Lace Up stamp set. I just bend it a little on my clear block to sort of fit the side of the stem of the flower. Inked up the sentiment with Versamark and then heat embossed in Queens Gold powder by Ranger. The Vellum was then glued to the photo paper which was then adhered to white card stock base. Added a few sequins and I am happy. The card has a little bit of shimmer with the colored background. Hope you like the card.
