Suzy, owner of So Suzy Stamps, showed me this amazing embossing folder from Darice that is now available in her store. I will post the link below. It is an amazing embossing folder. Here I used the folder to emboss a pink color card stock and added it to a regular A2 card base. The word “Alhamdulillah”, which means all praise it to God alone, I cut out from my Cricut and glued it to the front.
That inspired me. I have some stamp sets from Sheena Douglass. The category is A Taste of India. The stamps I used for this next card is from the Henna Mango set.
I stamped the main image using my MISTI to get a sharper image with my Memento Tuxedo Black ink Henna Embossing Folder on white card stock and then cut a 3/4 in off from the right. I then used my Stampin Up markers to color the left side using reds, greens and yellows. ( I did not mention the names because they are all out dated colors and you will not be able to find them any more). I trimmed down the right side just a little bit more from the outer edge. Added them both to 4 1/4 in by 5 1/12 in black card stock. I took a little sliver of black card stock and white heat embossed Just a Note from Altenew’s Lace Up stamp set. Cut the one side to make it look like a flag. I thought this is missing something so I took my Martha Stewart Silver Glitter Marker and colored between the two front panels and used my Wink of Stella on the flower and my Glossy Accents on the middle of the flower. Of course in this picture the glossy accents had not dried. It will dry clear. Hope you enjoyed my second card for this weekend. Let me know what you think. I would love to read your comments. (they brighten my day)… hehe
Those turned out beautiful!!!!!!
