Jennifer McGuire had tried something I thought I could never give justice to. However, I do love a challenge. I tried it. It is not the same caliber as hers but it is a beautiful start. n one of her videos she took a handful of mini sentiments and made one background out of them but putting lining them up. She called it Cluster Stamping. I will link her video at the bottom of my blog post. She used her T ruler to give her a little area to stamp. I used my MISTI which made it easier to see where I needed to lay the stamps. I used the grid pad to help me lay the stamps down so that the stamps were straight. Altenew has some brand new stamp sets that have beautiful sentiments. The one I used is called Sentiments and Quotes. I used and older set called Lace Up also from Altenew for some of the sentiments.
I inked this in Versamark and heat embossed with blue, purple and metallic embossing powders from Zing which I purchased from So Suzy Stamps. I cut the card stock down and added a navy card stock under the stamped background. I added this to an A2 card base and then randomly placed some different colored sequins.
Loved this technique. Please let me know what you think…..
BTW: I am not affiliated with any of the products in this blog. Just sharing the techniques.
