Watching others create holiday cards and seeing more blues and pinks join the line up, I became intrigued and wanted to create something myself.  I may not celebrate Christmas, but do love the message of Peace that is associated with it.  Peace being the base for my religion also, I knew I had to make something.  I purchased these Prima Adhesive Rub Ons quite some time ago and never really thought to use them.  These rub ons have glue on each side.  I rubbed the PEACE on white card stock and then peeled off the top plastic.  Once the adhesive was exposed I took Nuvo Glitter in Candy Pink and Nuvo Embossing powder in Shimmering Pearl and mixed them together on a coffee filter and then applied this mix to the top of the rub on.  I burnished the powder until all the adhesive was covered.  I then hat embossed this until set.  The designer paper is from Close To My Heart called My Reflections Florence.  (http://shalanaglass.closetomyheart.com).  I stamped the Blowing Snowflakes which is from So Suzy Stamps (http://www.sosuzystamps.com/blowing-snowflakes/) in So Suzy’s very own Ink Bites color of Timeless Turquoise.  I used my MISTI tool so that I could get a great impression.  Of course to fill the white space I stamped it in 2 different places.  I then tied a pink satin ribbon around the white front panel and attached it to the designer paper.  This was then attached to an A2 size card base.  I love the simplicity of this card and the message of peace that it sends along with it.  May this season bring much joy and peace to all today and always, especially the ones who are suffering.
