As I was perusing through Pinterest on my phone, I saw some really cute cards that I thought I would love to re-create. Here is my CASE card from Pinterest
Sentiment is from So Suzy Stamps ad snowflakes and hearts from Simon Says Stamp’s January 2016 Card Kit called Cute Snowflakes. All were heat embossed in white on black card stock and red rhinestones and pearls added to the middles of the snowflakes. The was then layered on a white card base. Easy Peasy card
My next card was also Pinterest inspired. For this one I used So Suzy Stamps Peony and Congratulations stamps. I first made pencil marks with a ruler on a diagonal and then used washi tape to mask the sides. I stamped the Peony’s in Vintage Photo and Worn Lipstick Distress inks and Surf Blue from Simon Says Stamp. The tiny hearts are from the Cute Snowflakes stamp set from Simon Says Stamp
I touched up the peonies with some Wink of Stella. The Congratulations was heat embossed using Memento Luxe Tuxedo Black ink and Clear embossing powder and the lines were made by a black fine point marker. This was attached to a white card base. This could have have been a one layer card, however I thought of it after I had already cut the card stock.
For my third card I wanted to pay around with the embossing powders I purchased from So Suzy Stamp. You cannot find these on her website, however if you are ever in New Mexico, please go to her store. It was recently renovated and I hear it is gorgeous in there… I used the metallic green, blue and gold and the glitter green embossing powders from Zing. I also used some Iridescent Ice from Stampin Up. I wanted to see how the colors blended when mixed and the result was amazing. I first used my Minc and gold embossed the bottom of some teal card stock by stamping my image in versamark and using clear embossing powder. I then ran this through the Minc with my gold foil. Since I had the Minc on, I also added some gold foil to a flower cut out I received with my Minc. The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp’s Congratulations stamp set. I heat embossed this in the mixture of embossing powders that I mentioned above. I just dumped a little of each on a piece of white card stock and used a toothpick to mix them together and then saved this in a plastic container. I stamped the sentiment in Versamark and then added this mix and heat embossed it. When you hold it to the light and move it you can see the shine of each color. I added the gold foiled flower and then attached this to a craft card stock.
For my last card, I was playing around with the embossing powder– actually I was experimenting and I made this focal piece before I made my last card. I used Distress Inks in Salty Ocean, and Peacock Feathers for the bottom portion of this card and Shaded Lilac for the top portion. I stamped Polo the Seahorse in Versamark and then heat embossed him in the embossing powder mix. I sprayed glimmer mist from Tattered Lace in blue all over the card and then stamped the waves from Simon Says Stamp’s Sailing set in the Salty Ocean to make it look tone on tone. Used the Happy Birthday sentiment from So Suzy Stamps which I stamped in Memento Luxe Tuxedo Black and heat embossed with clear powder. This was layered on a white A2 card base.
Looks like when I sit down to make cards, I make at least 3 or 4 of them.. Can’t just make one! Haha….. I had a lot of fun making these. Hope you enjoyed them also. Please leave some love in the comments section below. My heart is sent aflutter when some one comments. I do not get any rewards for posting the items below that I used just posting for my readers general knowledge.

LOVE That Peony Card! I am needing some inspiration for Valentine’s Day Cards and I think I just found it! You are the BEST!
