I finally was able to play with my Stamp of Approval goodies. I almost did not buy this. However when I saw this butterfly, I was smitten.  I had to have it. Both of these cards were made with simple techniques.  For the top card, I heat embossed the flower design from Gina K’s Stamp Of Approval stamp set in clear on water color paper (the butterflies are from the same set). I then used Tim Holtz distress inks in Picked Raspberry and Salty Ocean and just went pad directly to paper to make a crazy background. Added some water and let the colors blend.  I then took some of the pearlized water color from the Kuretake Ganzai Tambi watercolor palette and added a opalescent touch to it.  Once that was dry I stamped the butterflies in Gina K’s Black Onyx ink.  I cut this piece down and added to a black base.  I did not center this piece and added a sentiment from Altenew’s You Are stamp set.  I heat embossed this in white on the side of the focal point.  This was then attached to a white A2 card base.

For my second card, I decided to use the butterfly and stamp this on black card stock in Versamark.  I heat embossed this in Antique Gold from Ranger.  I then used my Artist Colored Pencil set to color in the wings. I attached this to lime green card stock and heat embossed the sentiment from So Suzy Stamps in the same Antique Gold.  I attached this to some patterned paper a little catty-whompas.  This was then attached to a white A2 card base.

I truly love this stamp set from Gina K from the Stamp of Approval.  Cannot wait to try the rest of the goodies.  Leave me some love.
