Glitter, glitter and glitter

Everyone knows how much I love glitter.  Just to commemorate my love for bling, I made 2 cards.  For my first card I used I inch double-sided adhesive tape.  I used Nuvo Pure Sheen Glitter in Butter Diamond and Glitter Candy Pink on black card stock.  I first added he Butter Diamond and then cleaned off the excess.  Next I use the Candy Pink and cleaned off the excess.  Sentiment and Mermaid stamps are from So Suzy Stamps. I won these exclusive stamps in an exasperating challenge.  Mermaid was colored with Stampin Up markers and cut out.  Added to a white A2 card base.  The sentiment is a beautiful message for someone who needs a little lift up.  For my next card I used one of my favorite stamps from So Suzy Stamps.  His name is Phineas the Peacock.  The swirls of the peacock are what appealed to me at first look.  I heat embossed Phineas in clear on white card stock. I then used my new passion to color the background. Ken Oliver’s Liquid Metals.  I used the Metallic Amethyst, Copper and Metallic Rose.  Just added a few drops of each to the and then used a mini spritzer to spray on some plain water.  A blingy, purply background was my end result.  I used the dies I purchased from Catherine Pooler’s A Beautiful World Stamp of Approval Collection.  Phineas is elevated just a bit by using black colored fun foam. The Happy Birthday script is also a stamp from So Suzy Stamps.  This was heat embossed in silver.  All attached to black card stock and then to a white A2 card base.  Hope you like my cards.  You may need shades to look at them, just beware… Hehe 20160516_213611_wm20160515_200610_wm
