It is amazing how much one can learn when surfing YouTube.  I started watching and fell upon this cool technique.  It is called Faux Cloisonne.  The items you will need for this is a magazine page, gold or silver embossing powder, Versamark pad, heating tool, embossing buddy and of course the stamp that you want to use.  The image you use should have some solid parts bur some open parts also.  I used the Butterfly stamp from So Suzy Stamps and don’t tell anyone but my Avon catalog.  I heat embossed it in gold and fussy cut around the edges. I then just added it to a card front along with a gold heat embossed Birthday sentiment which I also purchased from So Suzy Stamps.  Check out the card and let me know what you think…
